Allegra Heyligers

Biography

Allegra Heyligers is the Global Distribution chief operating officer at Allspring Global Investments. In this role, she is responsible for initiatives aligned to support global distribution efforts, including business management and sales enablement. The team she oversees focuses on business intelligence, advanced analytics, and market insights. Allegra joined Allspring from its predecessor firm, Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM). Prior to this, she was managing director and head of client engagement at Strategic Insight. Earlier, Allegra was chief operating officer of U.S. and Canada defined contribution and head of retirement strategy at BlackRock. She began her career in transition management at Barclays Global Investors. Allegra earned a bachelor's degree in communications, graduating cum laude, from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. She is an executive board member of the Defined Contribution Institutional Investment Association.
