Dennis Derby

Biography

Dennis Derby is a senior municipal research analyst and portfolio manager for the Global Fixed Income Research team at Allspring Global Investments. He joined Allspring from its predecessor firm, Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM). He joined WFAM from Evergreen Investments, where he served as a senior municipal analyst and portfolio manager. Dennis has extensive experience in a number of municipal sectors. His research has included a variety of higher-yield municipal bonds, including private placements. Dennis began his investment industry career in 1995. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Emory University. He is a member of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts and the Southern Municipal Analysts Society.
