Eric Harper, CFA

Biography

Eric Harper is a senior portfolio manager for the Closed-End Fund Strategies team at Allspring Global Investments. He joined Allspring from its predecessor firm, Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM). Before WFAM, Eric was with Tattersall Advisory Group, where he served in a similar role. Earlier, he served as a fixed income research analyst for Thompson, Siegel & Walmsley, Inc. He began his investment industry career in 1995. Eric earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Virginia. He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation and is a member of CFA Society Virginia and CFA Institute.
