Janat Ibraev, CFA

Biography

Janat Ibraev is a senior portfolio manager for the Plus Fixed Income team at Allspring Global Investments. In this capacity, he specializes in managing short duration portfolios with a focus on the corporate bond sector. Janat joined Allspring from its predecessor firm, Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM). He joined WFAM from Western Asset Management, where he served as a portfolio manager responsible for long duration corporate and government strategies. Prior to that, he served as a foreign exchange trader at Maksat Bank. Janat began his investment industry career in 1994. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Southern California. Janat has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation.
