Kay Madati
Biography
Kay Madati is president of K.M. Media Consultancy. In this role, he offers consulting, advising, and investing services in the media, entertainment, information technology, and consumer sectors. He also serves as a director at Allspring Global Investments.
Kay previously served as the chief commercial officer at FIFA where he was responsible for leading a global, multifaceted, and multinational team that developed and implemented the organization’s commercial and business strategies. Before that, he served as the global vice president and head of Content Partnerships at Twitter, Inc., where he led the company’s worldwide efforts in engaging with media and content publishers across various industries and sectors. Kay has also held positions at BET Networks, Facebook, Inc., and at CNN Worldwide as the chief digital officer, head of Entertainment Media and vice president of Audience Experience. He began his career at BMW of North America where he held various positions in sales, operations, and marketing. Kay has extensive experience in managing complex global organizations. He is a founding board member and chairman emeritus of Brooklyn Excelsior and Atlanta Heights Charter Schools. He also serves as a board member of CoachArt and on the Advisory Board of Harvard University’s Hutchins Center for African and African American Research. Kay is an appointed member of the President’s Advisory Council on Financial Capability for Young Americans and also sits on the board of Wingstop Inc.
Kay earned a bachelor’s degree in American studies with an emphasis in philosophy from Georgetown University and an executive management leadership certificate from the University of California, Los Angeles, Anderson School of Management.
