Biography

Matthew (Matt) Soifer is the head of Institutional at Allspring Global Investments. In this role, Matt is responsible for leading the growth of Allspring’s business with institutional clients, including insurance, endowments and foundations, retirement, and public and corporate plans. Matt joined Allspring from BlackRock, where he served as a managing director and head of distribution for the firm’s retirement group. Before that, he was a business development officer at Barclays Global Investors, and earlier, he served as a portfolio manager at United Parcel Service. Matt began his investment industry career in 2004. He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and management from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in finance and strategy from Northwestern University. Matt has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation.
