Michael Thomas, CFA

Biography

Michael Thomas is a senior investment risk analyst for the Investment Analytics team at Allspring Global Investments. He works in the Equity Risk Analytics segment. Michael joined Allspring from its predecessor firm, Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM). Prior to joining WFAM, Michael served as a director and senior investment analyst for Evergreen Investments. He began his investment industry career in 1999 at The Newport Group, working as a quantitative research analyst. Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance from Winthrop University. He has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation and is a member of CFA Society North Carolina.
