Miguel Escobar

Biography

Miguel Escobar is a senior analyst and portfolio manager for the Global Fixed Income team at Allspring Global Investments. He joined Allspring from GIA Partners, LLC, where he served as a director and portfolio manager responsible for credit analysis, performing industry reviews, and generating new investment ideas. During that time, he focused on companies in the basic industry, commodities, chemicals, and energy exploration and production industries globally. Miguel began his investment industry career in 2015 when he joined GIA. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration, graduating summa cum laude, and a master’s degree in business administration, both from Fairleigh Dickinson. Miguel is fluent in Spanish.
