Mike Norman

Biography

Mike Norman is a senior managing principal and the president of Galliard Capital Management LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Allspring Global Investments and one of Allspring's SEC registered investment advisers. In this role, he is responsible for the day-to-day management of Galliard as well as the oversight of the front-office functions that include client services, consultant relations, new business development, marketing, and stable value contract management. Mike joined Allspring at the inception of the firm as part of Galliard Capital Management, which was a wholly owned subsidiary of Allspring’s predecessor firm, Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM). He has been with Galliard since 1996 and has held multiple roles throughout his tenure with the firm, most recently serving as senior managing principal and co-president. Before that, Mike was a partner and chief administrative officer for Galliard, and earlier, he held several front-office and client-facing roles. Prior to Galliard, Mike was a trust officer at Norwest Corporate Trust and a securities lending trader for Norwest Bank. He began his investment industry career in 1993. Mike earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.
