Nora Jordan

Biography

Nora Jordan is senior counsel at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP and serves as a Board member of Allspring Global Investments.

Previously, she served as partner at Davis Polk, leading the firm's Investment Management Group. In that role, Nora advised the managers and directors responsible for advising hedge funds, mutual funds, and private equity funds. She also worked on several internal and Securities and Exchange Commission investigations involving asset managers and on numerous acquisitions and reorganizations of asset managers. Nora also served on numerous firm committees, including the Compensation and Recruiting Committees. She currently holds several board member positions including on the Board of the American Skin Association, which funds research and education on melanoma and other skin diseases and on the Board of Trustees of the Hotchkiss Library of Sharon. She has also served as an independent director on the board of the Las Vegas Sands Corp. and on the Board of Trustees of Duke University School of Law.

Nora earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame and a juris doctor from Duke University School of Law. She is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors.
