Peter Aberg

Biography

Peter Aberg is the co-founder of Reverence Capital and serves as a director of Allspring Global Investments.

He co-founded Reverence in 2013. Before that, Peter was at Goldman Sachs, where he held multiple roles during his 28-year career with the firm, including serving as a managing director and partner focusing primarily on the bank, finance company, and payments sectors. Earlier roles for Peter include serving as co-head of the Principal Finance Group and FICC Advisory Group in the securities division and as co-head of the Specialty Finance practice in the Financial Institutions Group in Investment Banking. He currently serves on the board of directors for CardWorks, Venerable Holdings (OpCo), Advisor Group, and Vida Capital.

Peter earned a bachelor’s degree from Yale and a master’s degree in business administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
