Peter J. Wilson

Biography

Peter Wilson is a portfolio manager for the Core Fixed Income team at Allspring Global Investments. He focuses on credit. Peter joined Allspring from its predecessor firm, Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM). Prior to joining WFAM, Peter was a managing director and head of trading and research at The Seaport Group. Earlier in his career, he was a partner and senior portfolio manager at KLS Diversified Asset Management, the global head of high yield and distressed trading at UBS, and the head of high-yield trading at JPMorgan Chase. Peter began his investment industry career in 1985. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from Gettysburg College.
