Biography

Jonathan Hobbs is a senior investment strategist and the head of U.S. Solutions for the Global Client Strategy team at Allspring Global Investments. In this capacity, he designs and implements outcome-oriented investment portfolios. Jonathan joined Allspring from its predecessor firm, Wells Fargo Asset Management (WFAM). Before WFAM, he served as head of client solutions and co-head of LDI North America for BlackRock. Jonathan began his investment industry career in 2004 at Ernst & Young as an actuarial advisor to insurance companies on risk and capital management issues. He earned a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science and finance from Drake University. Jonathan has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
